SPINS is a leading wellness-focused data company that is a passionate advocate for natural and organic retailers and brands. Pinto, a SPINS business, is the data intelligence tool that helps power product intelligence on Beacon Discovery and for New Hope events. Products uploaded through the New Hope Product Portal are processed through the Pinto data engine before appearing on Beacon or the Natural Products show mobile website.

Beacon Discovery Enables Less Searching, More Finding for Retailers

Using SPINS categories and attributes, products on Beacon can be searched using 100+ filters including ingredients, distribution, woman or minority ownership, geographic distribution, certifications, and many more. Additionally, the select product and sales metrics provided by SPINS add incredible value to brands by ensuring retailer-brand fit.

 

This means that retailers can go deeper than the information on a product’s label, stay ahead of trends, and optimize assortments of products, filling in gaps on store shelves.

Brands uploaded into Beacon are categorized by shelf thanks to SPINS technology. This means that brands can attract, engage, and retain retailer relationships based on hard data. Once products are uploaded into the New Hope Product Portal, SPINS deconstructs the label information, translates data, and outputs key insights in the form of clear product qualities. Powered by SPINS product intelligence, the New Hope Product Portal turns on-label and off-label information into insights that can be used to connect retailers to products that align with their buying choices and store goals.

Get Your Products Uploaded

The New Hope Product Portal powered by SPINS/Pinto makes it easy to upload product information and labeling images for review by New Hope Network’s Standards team, and for buyers to find up to date, accurate information on brands. It’s a great opportunity for brands to get feedback on their labels and ensure they are aligned with New Hope Standards.  

 

To make it even easier, we have a team of onboarding specialists to walk brands through the process, getting them onto Beacon year-round and into the Expo mobile platform, which is open now. 
  

Products in the New Hope Product Portal can be updated or refreshed at any time, for review and verification. This automatically triggers a review by the Standards team, any time during the year.   

At Natural Products Expo and Beyond
When brands complete their product uploads to the New Hope Product Portal and are posted on Beacon, their Expo booth information will be automatically pushed to the Exhibitor Hub for attendees to view at the event, making it easy for buyers to find them at the show. And because Beacon Discovery is always on, always available, products can be matched with retailers anytime, anywhere.
