During our co-founder Danielle's second pregnancy, she learned about the benefits of electrolytes and how they helped with hydration. So she picked some up from the store and started drinking them every day. They tasted good, and she felt better (even the swelling in her fingers went down). But when she finally looked at the label, she couldn't pronounce half the ingredients. It made her wonder what she was actually putting into her body. Danielle started searching for something cleaner and quickly got frustrated by how few options there were. Everything was packed with artificial sweeteners, confusing additives, or long ingredient lists she didn't recognize. So she started making her own at home instead, with simple ingredients she trusted and even felt comfortable sharing with her toddler. She kept refining the recipe, and as friends and family kept asking for more, she realized how many others were looking for the same thing: a hydration mix that isn't sugary, over-engineered, or marketed with wellness hype. Something gentle enough for daily use, with ingredients you understand.
