I have had lifelong struggle with painful digestive issues. After experiencing stomach pain from early childhood and later navigating severe gut dysfunction including SIBO, H. pylori, mold toxicity, and leaky gut, I became deeply immersed in the world of functional & Chinese medicine, nutrition, and gut health in pursuit of my own healing. What I discovered was frustrating: the gut health market was excluding people with digestive issues from the conversation and oftentimes rooted in poor and outdated science. Unable to find products that met my needs and standards, I set out to create them myself. I left behind a successful career in international film and television development—where I helped bring award-winning projects, like Oscar Award winner CODA to life—to build the kind of on-the-go nourishment I wished had existed during my healing journey. Developing a TV show and selling it to Netflix is not unlike launching a brand into retail. I taught myself food science and experimented in my kitchen, personally sourcing and testing every single ingredient to be supportive to my sensitive digestion. Preme makes premium prebiotic hydration drink powders, using FODMAP Friendly and science-backed gut-building ingredients, organic and European Grade flavor systems, and gentle FODMAP friendly formulations designed to be inclusive to sensitive and struggling digestive systems.
