Founded in 2021, Butter & Me emerged as an AAPI woman-owned business, venturing to revolutionize skincare with a focus on minimalism, eco-friendliness, and tangible joy in every product. Our story began with a simple ambition: to find a natural solution for the founder's husband's eczema, which led to a deeper realization about the skincare industry's reliance on unnecessary chemicals, fillers, and plastic packaging. Disturbed by the prevalent use of plastics and the lack of excitement in conventional skincare, our founder committed to crafting delightful, effective, and clean skincare alternatives. We embarked on creating an innovative line of solid skincare products, including our pioneering Butter Melt Lotion Bar and Choco Body Scrub along with other personal care essentials, prioritizing no more than ten ingredients for each product. Butter & Me is built on sustainability. We minimize waste and champion eco-conscious practices by opting for 100% recyclable or biodegradable packaging, steering completely away from plastics. Our commitment extends beyond our products. With every purchase, Butter & Me donates 1% of sales towards environmental conservation, plants a tree, and adheres strictly to cruelty-free practices, as verified by our Leaping Bunny certification.
