Inspired by founder Katerina Mountanos' family roots in Koroni, Greece—the birthplace of the Koroneiki olive—Kosterina was created after she realized that the olive oil available in U.S. grocery stores lacked the freshness, flavor, and nutritional value of what her family enjoyed back in Greece. Our early-harvest, single-origin Koroneiki olives are harvested early and cold-pressed the same day they're picked, producing an exceptionally fresh olive oil with more than 350 mg/kg of polyphenols—several times higher than your typical grocery store olive oils.
