Lamb Tallow LLC

In Iceland, sheep have grazed free since the Vikings first arrived — roaming unfenced highlands, feeding on wild grasses, moss, and herbs grown in volcanic soil and glacial water. For generations, Icelandic families have rendered tallow from these free-roaming lambs to protect their skin from the cold and to cook the way their ancestors did. Icelandic Lamb Tallow carries that tradition forward, for the body and for the table, as one family working two ways. Rebecca Cardie fell in love with Iceland's landscapes and its lambs, and that love became a family calling. Her son Caden and his wife Lauren built Icelandic Tallow, rendering free-roaming Icelandic lamb suet into a clean, single-ingredient cooking tallow, prized by chefs and home cooks who want real food with no fillers or shortcuts. Alongside them, Rebecca and her daughter-in-law Mikayla built NORÐUR, rendering that same Icelandic lamb tallow at the oldest tallow farm in Iceland into nourishing skincare balms — moisturizing, soothing, and gentle enough for every age, from windburned winter skin to a baby's cheeks. Different products, same family, same lamb, same standard: whole suet only, never trimmings; slow, low-temperature rendering that preserves vitamins A, D, E, and K; and zero bleaching agents, chemical deodorizers, or synthetic preservatives. Nothing added. Nothing taken away. Just Icelandic lamb tallow, made the way it always has been. We believe Iceland's free-roaming lambs, clean air, and untouched land produce a tallow unlike anything else on earth, which is why our family's motto is simple: The Purest Tallow on Earth. Whether you find us on your bathroom shelf or in your kitchen pantry, it's the same family, the same Icelandic tradition, and the same uncompromising purity. One family, two companies, one mission: honest Icelandic lamb tallow, for skin and for food, brought to households everywhere.
