Pedestrian Project

Pedestrian was born from the needs of our founder Kristen's overworked and under appreciated feet. A mom of four and an avid runner, Kristen had been living with dry, cracked heels for years, dabbling in drug store foot care solutions, but underwhelmed by the results and discouraged by the chemical-laden formulas and old fashioned aesthetics. It occurred to her one day while running how incredibly important movement is to both our physical and mental wellbeing. Whether it's taking a walk with a friend, hiking to reconnect with nature, or running for physical health, our feet enable everything we do, making them one of the most important, yet ironically, least loved parts of our anatomy. While we started Pedestrian to fix Kristen's cracked heels, today we imagine a world where everyone cares for their feet as much as they do for the rest of their body. Because we firmly believe that what you give to your feet, they'll give back to you in further walks, longer strides, and a life well stepped.
