Cream of the West - the brainchild of a farm equipment salesman in 1914 after being served a delicious bowl of hand roasted wheat cereal by a farmers wife. Now Montana's oldest food company, we are launching our fully certified organic line of hot cereals with a stellar line of whole ingredient pancake mixes on the near horizon as well. Our journey with this iconic company came while searching for a co packer for our new startup called Gruff. Whole ingredient ancient grains course cracked into a "grit". Gruff is inspired by our own health journey and farm transformation to be sourced from our own regenerative organic certified farm known as "Prairie Grass Ranch". Gruff was bestowed with a NEXTY award at the last Expo East in 2023. Our small but passionate team has been concentrating on the re branding of Cream of the West. With this now complete, we are poised to refocus our efforts on the promotion of our very special and unique company. Transparency is king with both of our companies and we are here to rise to the challenge of offering genuine food as medicine choices to an ailing society.
