Twist Foods was born out of a simple but powerful idea: to bring the bold, authentic flavors of Indian cooking into everyday kitchens—without the time-consuming prep or compromise in quality. Our journey began in 2020 in Las Vegas, where we, operate successful Indian restaurants. As customers continued to ask if they could take our sauces home, we realized there was a clear gap in the market. Most retail curry sauces lacked the depth, freshness, and balance that define truly great Indian food. So we decided to create a solution ourselves. We started small, offering 16oz containers of our simmer sauces to regulars at our restaurants. The response was immediate and overwhelmingly positive. Encouraged by this demand, we took our idea to local farmers markets, where we gathered direct consumer feedback, tested recipes, and refined our sauces with care. It was clear we had something special—a product that made people feel at home and excited to cook again. Over the next few years, we searched for the right co-packer who could match the integrity of our slow-cooked process and high-quality ingredients. It took time, but we stayed true to our standards: no seed oils, no artificial additives, and clean-label recipes made with vine-ripened tomatoes, real cream, cashew butter, fresh onions, and bold Indian spices. In May 2024, after years of development, we officially launched Twist Foods—a women- and minority-owned brand focused on sharing authentic Indian flavors through chef-crafted simmer sauces. What makes Twist unique is that it's built directly from our restaurant kitchens, using the same techniques and ingredients we trust in our daily service. Our sauces are slow-cooked in small batches and designed for versatility, allowing anyone to cook confidently and creatively with real Indian flavors. Our story is one of persistence, purpose, and passion—grounded in tradition, but made for modern life. Twist is more than a brand; it's our way of sharing the food we love with people everywhere.
