Keya's Snacks

Founded in 2020, a silver lining out of the pandemic. We gave out complimentary samples as a thank you to our customers for letting us pivot and the masala chips were loved so much that orders started coming in. We hand packaged and made them for 3 years, this year we've re-launched for scale, with professional packaging, single origin organic spices from India and potatoes from America. As a WOC immigrant, this is my Indian American dream. These masala chips cake to life because I was trying to introduce my Caucasian husband to my culture and these complex flavors, since he did not like Indian food. I took a spice blend I used to make for myself and put them on his favorite snack - salted potato chips - and he absolutely loved them. He now eats Indian food and loves the flavors, this was a light bulb moment for me, his palate represents the American landscape to me and our dream is to have mass retail presence. Our lable is clean, we buy whole and fresh single origin spices from farmers in India, we then dry them, grind, blend and make our seasoning, no additives, fillers, colors, preservatives. Just a clean joyful flavorful snack. We have 3 more chips flavors in the pipeline in addition to these two and hope to expand across multiple categories! Built on flavor, backed by culture, that's our motto. Our new flavor called Black salt, is an homage to a classic salted potato chip, but with our cultural POV. A cultural cousin of sea salt and vinegar if you will. Our branding is customer-first focused and involves a lot of story telling. The font has 4 arms, that's our way to pay homage to Annapurna, the Indian goddess of food, but also to the hand that feeds, mothers, women, people who provide nourishment. I'm also a Food Network champion and understand both American and Indian palates fully.
