Kekoa Foods

We, David and Danny, are the proud fathers and founders of Kekoa Foods, a company inspired by the love for our son, who was born eight weeks early in Honolulu, Hawaii. During his time in the NICU, a native Hawaiian cultural practitioner gave him the name "Kekoa," meaning "brave warrior," in honor of his fighting spirit. To support his health, we began creating meals packed with nutrient-rich vegetables, fruits, and palate-expanding herbs and spices—recipes that became the foundation of Kekoa Foods. In January 2022, we launched direct-to-consumer (DTC) with three products. Today, we sell on Amazon, our Shopify store, and soon on Walmart.com. Our products are also available in 1,100 retail stores nationwide, now featuring a total of seven pouch purees. Recently, we trademarked our Taste Training™ program, a structured method designed to introduce infants to diverse flavors starting at six months old. Developed in collaboration with a leading pediatric nutrition expert, Taste Training helps parents nurture their child's palate for a lifetime of healthy eating. It complements milestones like sleep and potty training, guiding little ones in their early development. Taste Training offers an innovative way to establish healthy eating habits right from the start.
