Day Out Snacks

I started rolling out protein balls in 2018 working as a busy pharmacist with very limited time to prepare healthy meals and snacks. For years, I struggled to find packaged snacks that met my nutritional needs. I tried to turn a blind eye to the ingredients that were in 99% of the packaged foods I was consuming including gums, emulsifiers, questionable oils, and artificial preservatives but I kept coming back to the same question: why can't these snacks just be made with REAL food? Eventually it caught up to me. I had no energy, trouble concentrating, and would often find myself skipping workouts which I used to look forward to. I realized how much of an impact our food choices have on how we feel and ultimately how we live our lives. I knew I had to create my own alternative; something that could provide the nutrition my body needed and was actually good for me. Portion size was also a big problem. After trying hundreds of protein bars over the years, I can honestly say that at least half of them went to waste because I didn't finish the entire bar at once. I could never understand why every bar came in a "one-size-fits-all" package, when everyone's nutritional needs are so different. It was me and my mixing bowl against the world. I turned to my kitchen cabinets and started rolling out nutrient-rich protein balls. By leaving out the junk and fillers, these protein-packed bites kept me full and energized for hours…satisfying both my nutritional needs and sweet tooth at the same time. Each protein ball is designed to be bite-size, providing the perfect balance of macronutrients. The idea to sell them in resealable packs is to allow for flexibility in portion size and ultimately reduce food waste. All of our recipes were crafted in a kitchen (not in a lab!). Being mindful of dietary requirements and the growing responsibility towards sustainability, we craft all of our products with 100% plant-based ingredients and our entire line is gluten free, dairy free, soy free, non-GMO, and vegan.
