Scott's Protein Balls

Our CEO, Lori Levine was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. After successful treatment, Lori decided to go to a nutritionist to clean up her diet. Her nutritionist told her that she could no longer eat protein bars. She said they are HIGHLY processed, many are filled with soy, sugar, chemicals you can't pronounce, artificial flavors, etc. Needing something clean to snack on, her husband, Scott decided he would make something for her. After much trial and error, he settled on a Peanut Butter Chocolate chip protein ball. It soon became Lori's go to snack and then became all of their friends' and family's go to snack. Everyone said she should start a business. In 2020, during the pandemic, Lori decided to buy a chest freezer and lots of ingredients so her and her family could start making and stockpiling balls. When things settled down during the summer of 2020, she put a google doc on Instagram and soon had 50-60 people buying regularly. In short order, a local bagel store heard the story and decided to carry the product. Fast forward to today, armed with a co-packer, broker, distributor and 3 PL, the company is now in nearly 200 stores and growing! With no constraints on production volume, the company is ready to meet with national retailers.
