Datefix

As an avid long-distance runner who appreciates the joys of food and the benefits of healthy eating and resistance training, I understood that consuming hard-to-digest, chemically made energy gels in pursuit of fitness was a contradiction begging for a natural alternative. I came to realize that my favorite, homemade pastry filling made of dates wasn't just delicious or a source of sweet satisfaction, but that its rich dates were an ancient source of sustenance and a long-lasting fresh fruit, with a higher purpose hiding in plain sight. So I packed my puréed date recipes into a single-serve, squeeze pouches and behold, datefix was born.
