Founded in 2020, SIMPLi co-founders Sarela Herrada and Matt Cohen sought out to bring the best single-origin ingredients from around the world to consumers kitchens in a way that equally benefits farmers, the environment, and consumers. SIMPLi is a Regenerative Organic Certified® and Fair For Life Certified company. SIMPLi is the first ingredients brand to achieve Regenerative Organic Certified® in South America for its quinoa and beans. These certifications guarantee that SIMPLi's farming partners receive fair compensation and their communities are uplifted economically. They also ensure customers receive more delicious, nutrient-dense products that are ethically sourced and promote environmental stewardship. SIMPLi works with farmers who are already implementing agricultural practices that meet 90% of the ROC® standards and works closely with them to provide the education and finances to reach 100%. To date, SIMPLi has helped reduce food fraud in the international supply chain by over 1 million pounds and has helped farming communities in rural regions of Peru increase profitability by 10 percent.
