Bears for Humanity, Inc.

Message From The Founders When I became a mother of twins, my entire worldview changed. The health and well-being of my children became my highest priority. I wanted to give Rohan and Arianna the healthiest foods, safest clothes, and most natural toys possible. Growing up, my older brother bought me a white teddy bear with his very first paycheck. Its soft fur and red ribbon made it incredibly special to me, and that bear became a lifelong reminder of family, love, and generosity. Naturally, I wanted to find equally special organic teddy bears for my children. I was surprised to discover that truly organic faux-fur teddy bears were almost impossible to find. When my husband, Vijay, and I began researching why, we learned that most plush toys relied heavily on synthetic polyester materials because they were less expensive and easier to manufacture. That inspired us to create something different. Together, we spent years developing safe, soft, high-quality toys made with organic and sustainable materials. But creating a better teddy bear was only part of our mission. We also wanted our bears to bring comfort to children facing hardship. That idea became the foundation of our Buy One, Give One program. For every qualifying bear purchased, Bears for Humanity donates a bear to a child in need through our network of giving partners. We also believe in creating positive opportunities for the communities involved in making our products. From responsible manufacturing to supporting families and workers, we want every Bears for Humanity product to represent care at every step. Our hope is simple: when you choose a Bears for Humanity teddy bear, you are giving more than a toy. The bear you buy can become a lifelong memory for someone you love, while the bear you help give can bring comfort and joy to a child who needs it most. Thank you for joining us in creating a kinder, more caring world—one bear at a time. Renju & Vijay Prathap Founders, Bears for Humanity
