Our founder Juju started making Daramel for herself and quickly realized she wanted to share it with everyone. Born from her Iranian background where dates are a staple snack, ingredient, and symbol of light and life, she wanted to drizzle dates on everything. She started experimenting with making a date caramel, and a big part of Persian culture is hospitality and connection through food, so she soon started making daramel for friends and family.
