Our founder, Alice Li, started First Day because of the promise that comes from fresh beginnings. The first day has the potential to be your best day, every day. During the 1950's, her family lived a challenging life. Food was scarce, and my grandparents experienced constant hunger pangs, sacrificing their health, to give their children a better life. But the body doesn't forget hard times. Wanting everyone to have a great start in life, she started First Day to ensure that every person has the opportunity to live every day like it's their First Day. First Day is an homage to families. To all parents and grandparents out there who have given everything to their children at the expense of themselves. You are seen. You are appreciated. And you are loved more than you can ever imagine.
