Scrub Daddy's brand story begins with founder Aaron Krause, who in 2006 was running a manufacturing company and experimenting with new materials to solve cleaning challenges. While developing a hand-scrubbing product, he created a unique high-performance foam, but the idea initially failed to gain traction and was set aside. Years later, Krause rediscovered the material while cleaning household items and realized its potential as a versatile sponge that changes texture with water temperature. He refined the concept into a functional yet playful design, ultimately launching Scrub Daddy in 2012 with a focus on combining innovative materials with fun, effective cleaning solutions that "make you smile while you scrub."
