Wally & Whiz was founded in Copenhagen with a simple ambition: to create an honest gummy. Our founder, Kristian Them Hansen, loved gummies—but was frustrated that most tasted artificial and bore little resemblance to the fruit they claimed to represent. In his Østerbro apartment kitchen, he began experimenting with real fruit juices, vegan starch, and carefully selected ingredients, determined to craft a confection that delivered true, vibrant flavor without unnecessary additives. What emerged was a new kind of Danish winegum—square-shaped, gelatin-free, and built around thoughtfully paired fruit combinations such as elderflower with blueberry and mango with passion fruit. Each pairing is designed to create a layered, sophisticated taste experience that challenges the traditional gummy category. Since shipping its first order in 2015, Wally & Whiz has grown into an internationally recognized premium confectionery brand, now available in more than 800 stores across 30 countries.
