Vine to Bar

We're women owned and founded. Good friends for decades, Barbara Banke, (Chairwoman and Proprietor of Jackson Family Wines), and Peggy Furth (Founder of Chalk Hill Winery), worked for years with the USDA Agricultural Research Service and UC Davis researching the health benefits of dried, milled and pressed chardonnay grapes. They wanted to find a "higher and better" use for the by-product of winemaking. They discovered and patented WellVine™ - a Real Food Prebiotic that feeds the good bacteria and suppresses the non beneficial. They launched Vine to Bar in 2022 with WellVine™ as the hero ingredient. We've created the first real trifecta in the category, a product that delivers on taste, health, and sustainability.
