During Covid-19, our co-founders were working in "corporate america." A husband and wife couple, working for a travel agency and one a credit union decided Covid would be a good life reset. They started making freeze dried foods in their garage. After a couple years, they started to bring their freeze dried candies to Farmers Markets, Boutiques, and small area grocery stores. They met a manufacturer of commercial freeze dry machines and the idea to scale freeze dried candy was born. Over the last couple years they were purchased but retained by a holdings company to expand their company and coming up with "clean SKUs." The company found a candy maker that uses no artificial dyes or flavors and the "clean" Krackle candy was born.
