Polar Beverages

In the early 1880s, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Dennis Crowley crafted what he considered to be the world's best-tasting bubble recipe. The savvy bartender thought these 'modern' carbonated beverages would help grow his burgeoning whiskey business. But then, as the Prohibition movement gained momentum in New England, Crowley fatefully decided to focus on his sparkling seltzer waters. Polar Seltzer remains owned and operated by the Crowley family four generations later. Polar Beverages Inc. is now the largest independent bottling company in the United States, comprised of their own family of brands – including Polar Seltzer, Adirondack, Clear & Sparkling, O Water and Frannie's – along with strong brand partnerships for bottling, private-label manufacturing and distribution for both regional and national brand partners. Today, Polar Beverages produces and distributes from three locations, Worcester, Massachusetts; Albany, New York; and Fitzgerald, Georgia.
