In 2018, the innovative salt technology that is the cornerstone of our business was discovered by a professor at the University of Arkansas. Our parent company TEK Capital, purchased this technology and it was commercialized as MicroSalt. We saw this technology as an excellent way to help all brands lower their sodium content without impacting the product flavor profiles. We sell the bulk MicroSalt ingredient to all companies and we also launched the SaltMe! potato chip brand as a proof on concept in April of 2020. Three years later we launched the MicroSalt salt shakers in October of 2023. We continue to expand the distribution of our own brands as well as look to partner with other companies for their products.
