The origins of our company trace back to John Meyenberg, a Swiss immigrant who founded the company that eventually became Carnation. His son started the Meyenberg goat milk dairy, which was purchased by Harold Jackson in 1934. Jackson's main motivation was his desire to find milk that his son Robert - who couldn't digest cow's milk - could drink.
