Masala Gossip

Masala Gossip was born from my lifelong connection to food and family. Growing up in Punjab, India, I spent countless hours in the kitchen with my grandmother, mother, and brother, cooking meals that were as nourishing as they were flavorful. From hand-picking vegetables on our family farm to creating meals steeped in tradition, every dish was a celebration of togetherness, health, and the joy of cooking. After leaving a career in tech that felt unfulfilling, I found my way back to my roots and my passion for food. Inspired by the authentic recipes of my childhood, I saw an opportunity to share the bold, vibrant flavors of Indian home cooking with modern kitchens in a way that felt simple and approachable. I realized that many people found Indian cooking intimidating or time-consuming, and I wanted to change that. That’s why I created Masala Gossip—a line of simmer sauces and chili crisps that simplify the process while staying true to the heritage and flavors of Indian cuisine. At its heart, Masala Gossip is about connection. It’s about giving busy parents and food lovers the tools to create meals that are not only delicious but also meaningful. With clean, high-quality ingredients and versatile products, Masala Gossip makes it easy to bring vibrant Indian flavors to any dish, any day of the week. Whether you’re recreating cherished family recipes or exploring something new, Masala Gossip celebrates the power of food to bring people together and the richness of Indian culinary traditions. For me, this is more than just a brand—it’s my way of sharing the love and legacy of Indian cooking with the world, one product at a time. Thanks, Dhara
