MisoHeat was started in 2019 after chef and founder Curtis Bell catered a party in which he highlighted his inspirations from a month-long trip to Japan. Originally intended to be a condiment for an interactive ramen bar, guests quickly started using the chili paste he created on other dishes such as the charcuterie board. The host then insisted Curtis start a business out of the creation. After 6 months of careful consideration and thought, he realized no other product like it exists on the market and therefore it needed to be shared with the world!
