My health and wellness journey began when my stepmom decided to go vegan due to the health benefits. In her kitchen, we would bake cookies, brownies, and other treats using entirely plant-based ingredients. When I returned to San Francisco, I couldn't find the cookies I learned how to bake - without gums, fillers and with whole food ingredients. I started baking in my own kitchen and brought some samples to Rainbow Grocery, Bi-rite and Other Avenues in San Francisco. Their buyers loved the taste of my products and couldn't get over the simple ingredient list - almonds, chia seeds, almond butter, dates & dried fruit. My passion is to share the plant-based lifestyle with others, break down barriers, and create an inclusive community. A portion of sales support organizations aligned with our values such as Oasis for Girls. Vegans and non-vegans alike love our cookies and are surprised to hear that they are nutrient dense as well! -Lauren, Founder
