THEO's Plant-Based

Founded in 2021 by Chef Theo Mourad (and later Aaron Brodkey in 2022), THEO's uses culinary techniques Theo honed in Michelin Star farm-to-table kitchens to craft innovative, vegetable-forward foods that deliver on superior flavor and superfood nutrition, and support regenerative-organic supply chains & zero-waste processing methods. THEO's first product is BEET Jerky, a first-of-its-kind whole-vegetable snack, and future recipes will bring whole-vegetables to other categories of plant-based foods. BEET jerky is a regenerative-organic product that utilizes 96% weight of the beet by upcycling the peel & stem of vegetables (composting the rest), and comes in a fully compostable package. So far THEO's has saved 10,000 pounds of beets from going to waste! We launched BEET Jerky in 2023 in Whole Foods Markets throughout the Midwest following our acceptance into Whole Foods Market's Local and Emerging Accelerator Program (LEAP), where THEO's was selected as the #1 Midwest brand out of over 800 applications. Currently BEET Jerky is selling above average for the functional snacks category and is available in over 100 stores. In 2024, THEO's will be unveiling new flavors for BEET Jerky along with our second line of innovative vegetable-forward products!
