SoapStandle

Today SoapStandle, made in the USA, is the #1 consumer preferred soap solution. With mass placement on Amazon with over 1,500 5-star reviews and in Walmart stores nation-wide, SoapStandle is changing the way consumers use soap. Featured in the following: "Prevent soap slip-ups, prevent goo on a wet bar." Barbara Haislip, in The Wall Street Journal "Things you need now. No more dropped soap." - Zoe Moore, ABC News "This little plastic ring eliminates gunky soap?" - Carolyn Forte, Good Housekeeping Institute, Director I wanted to see if I could make a bar of soap not slip out of your hand. So I got some modeling clay and baked a prototype - it worked! I came to a number of realizations and got a patent. Now I'm curious to see if I can build a business and communicate this to 3 billion people. The SoapStandle is simple. But by allowing all the water to drain from the bar, a complex series of things occur: a) Soap dries outs so no goo develops on the bar b) Promotes clean sink & shower c) Bars last 30% longer d) Ergonomically designed grooves allow for a comfortable grip so the bar doesn't slip Alternatives don't do any of those 4 things particularly well, and nothing does all four of those things effectively. But the SoapStandle does. The experience of cleaning is better, nicer soaps, no mess, lasts longer, and sea turtles are happy. (The #1 reason people use liquid soap in their home is to avoid 'soap goo'. Liquid soap is 70% water, & a huge amount of fuel is required to ship it since it's so heavy, so the carbon footprint is large, and the plastic packaging finds its way to oceans = unhappy sea turtles.) Some are already in small hands through a hand-washing initiative. We partnered with the Sundara Fund in a One-for-One program that brought SoapStandles to hand washing programs in Uganda and India. Use SoapStandles. Make a sea turtle's day? and your own. Every bar of soap should have a SoapStandle.
