I started Moku after shifting to a plant-based diet and finding there was a lack of delicious, nutritious, savory snacks. I knew mushrooms were both meaty and nutritious so I partnered with a Michelin Star Chef and spent a full year in the kitchen doing over 100 iterations until we landed on a mushroom jerky that looked and tasted like beef jerky. That was when Moku was born.
