"Wintergreen essential oil, with its sweet, candy-like scent, was first used by Native Americans. Today, we still use this oil for breathing. Wintergreen oil also is the "fire" in our Fire & Ice blend. Our therapy-grade wintergreen oil comes from steam-distilled wintergreen leaves of the Gaultheria procumbens plant in India. You can diffuse it in the air or apply it topically for a warming effect. If you choose to use it topically, dilute the oil in a 2-5% dilution by adding 18-45 drops of oil to 30 ml of carrier oil.
