We’re Nick and Asia, the co-founders of LUCENT. Nick grew up around his parents’ tea shop in Washington, D.C., and later lived in Japan, where green tea became part of everyday life. Asia spent years working in tech;an environment where people are constantly trying to think more clearly, move faster and perform without burning out. After relocating to the Swiss Alps to focus on our health and well-being, matcha remained part of our daily routine. Over time, we began asking ourselves: could we preserve what we love about matcha while making it lighter, more refreshing and convenient enough to enjoy anywhere? We didn’t want to create another conventional energy drink powered by sugar and excessive caffeine. Instead, we set out to transform real matcha into an approachable, ready-to-drink format...without losing the balanced energy that made us love it in the first place. That journey became LUCENT: a zero-sugar matcha energy drink with naturally occurring caffeine and L-theanine, plus vitamins B6, B12 and C. It’s designed to deliver calm energy and clear focus in a clean, refreshing format. We created LUCENT for ourselves first. We believe we’ve built something genuinely special and we think you’ll love it too.
