MOM PLEASE was born from a Ukrainian family’s journey from Mariupol to Los Angeles. After the war reached our city, we came to California in 2022 with our mother, family recipes, and culinary traditions. In 2023, we opened Mom, Please in Playa Vista. Our syrnyky—Ukrainian Farmer’s Cheese Breakfast Cakes made from a four-generation family recipe—became our most popular dish. Today, we serve more than 100 orders a day. We created our retail line to bring this proven recipe to the freezer aisle. Made with fresh farmer’s cheese, eggs, wheat flour, monk fruit, vanilla, and sea salt, our breakfast cakes offer 22 grams of protein with no added sugar, preservatives, seed oils, or artificial flavors. MOM PLEASE preserves Ukrainian food traditions while making an authentic family breakfast convenient for modern American consumers.
