Yoursy was founded with a simple belief: the scents we surround ourselves with matter. Our sense of smell is one of the most powerful and immediate ways we experience the world. It influences our mood, emotions, memories, and daily rituals, yet it is often overlooked in conversations about well-being. At the same time, the products we use to scent our homes and personal spaces are frequently filled with synthetic fragrances, while aromatherapy has become increasingly misunderstood—often perceived as complicated, inaccessible, or associated with unrealistic wellness claims. We believed there was a better way. Founded by Certified Aromatherapist, Botanical Perfumer and NAHA member Melike Aktas, Yoursy was created to redefine aromatherapy for modern living. Instead of asking people to navigate hundreds of single essential oils or become blending experts, we create thoughtfully formulated, mood-based blends designed around how people want to feel—focused, calm, energized, grounded, or restored. Every blend is developed with both artistry and aromatherapy expertise, making the experience effortless without compromising quality or intention. We believe wellness should fit naturally into everyday life, not require complicated routines or extensive knowledge. Beyond creating products, we are building a new relationship between people and scent. We want to inspire more mindful choices about what we breathe into our homes, workplaces, and daily rituals. Scent has the ability to shape how a space feels, how a moment is remembered, and how we connect with ourselves and those around us.
