Popple Tree Creek Farms started with a simple goal: to grow something real. What began as an interest in planting American elderberries quickly turned into something much bigger. As we worked with the plants—propagating cuttings, tending rows, and learning their unique growth habits—we saw an opportunity to do more than just grow fruit. We saw a way to create products that actually meant something. Like many people, we were frustrated by how far removed most "health" products are from their source. Ingredients are often heavily processed, imported, or stripped of what makes them effective in the first place. We wanted to take a different approach—one that stayed connected to the land, the plant, and the process from start to finish. So we built Popple Tree Creek Farms around that idea. We focus on American elderberries because they grow well here in Northern Minnesota and because we believe in working with what naturally thrives in our environment. From there, we began developing products—elderberry syrup, herbal teas, infused honey, and more—using methods that prioritize quality over convenience. That means minimal processing, clean ingredients, and hands-on production every step of the way. As we've grown, that commitment hasn't changed. If anything, it's become more important. Every product we make reflects the same standard: it has to be something we trust, something we use ourselves, and something we're proud to stand behind. What started as planting a few rows has grown into a deeper mission—to reconnect people with where their products come from, and to prove that simple, well-made ingredients still matter.
