FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS ON OUR FARM to supporting communities in Northeastern (Isaan) Thailand Our family rice farm is located in Sisaket Province, one of the premiere locations for producing the best quality Thai Hom Mali or Jasmine rice in the world. Our journey started in 2007 when we decided to convert our Srikram-Kewandee family farm over to organic cultivation, the first internationally certified organic farm in our province (EU Organic certified in 2009). This was followed in 2012 with the formal creation of Raitong Organics Farm Co., Ltd. Though the Isaan region has long been known for being arid and poor, Sisaket is one of the few places that can produce the best quality Hom Mali or Jasmine rice in the world. We are young and creative, but also value our family rice farming heritage, drawing on that rich knowledge to blend with new ideas to work towards a sustainable future through collaborative efforts with our small-scale farmer members in our cooperative. We strongly believe that organic, regenerative, and biodynamic farming practices will not only benefit us, but also our customers and the environment as a whole.
