Banagua

My co-founders and I met during Vanderbilt MBA program and knew pretty quickly we wanted to build something special together. We stumbled into banana water almost by accident but once we tried it it was obvious. It checked every box. Ultra functional and incredibly simple to understand and it honestly tasted better than coconut water. We teamed up with a legendary packaging designer to build a brand that could live just as easily in a bodega as it could at Erewhon. We launched our first pilot in Kroger and the shelves moved fast and that's when our thesis was validated and the journey really started. After just six months in the market we are already launching in mass retail and natural grocery nationwide and we were named "Best New Beverage" by Beverage Digest this year.
