Yes Honey didn't start in a lab — it started on a pasture. Back in 2022, we launched as Naked Chicks Pasture, bringing pasture-raised chicken to our rural Missouri community and raising bees alongside our birds. Long before soda ever entered the picture, our family had already swapped processed sugar for maple sugar and honey, so brewing sweet tea with honey was just part of everyday life. That simple habit sparked a bigger idea: What if soda didn't have to be corn-syrupy, have artificial sweeteners or a bitter aftertaste? Working with a formulator friend, we created a honey-sweetened soda and began selling it at farmers markets in late 2023 under the very long name "Naked Chicks Pasture Honey Sweetened Soda Alternative." (Yes… it was a mouthful.) The drinks took off — but the name didn't. When customers tried to find us online, they kept landing on some very not-so-family-friendly sites by typing "Naked Chicks" instead of "NakedChicksPasture.com." That's when we knew we needed to rebrand. Enter Yes Honey — a name as clean, simple, and sweet as what's inside our cans. Shortly after launching the brand, I was diagnosed with Alpha-gal Syndrome, the fastest-growing food allergy in the U.S., which causes reactions to mammal-derived ingredients. Suddenly, labels weren't just marketing — they were safety. And I realized how few products were clearly and transparently labeled for people like me. So we made Yes Honey the first brand labeled Alpha-gal friendly, creating drinks people can trust without having to guess. Today, Yes Honey has grown from 5 stores to over 500 retail locations in just two years, fueled by real honey, clean ingredients, and a mission bigger than just great flavor.
