KASÉ Japanese Cooking is inspired by EN Japanese Brasserie, a legendary New York City restaurant with a 20-year history that earned a devoted following for its authentic Japanese cuisine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many customers asked for EN's recipes, wanting to recreate the flavors they loved at home. Seeing this demand, Reika, the former owner of EN, together with her childhood friend Kanae, decided to create a way to bring EN's culinary experience beyond the restaurant. When EN closed at the end of 2024, KASÉ was ready to continue sharing its legacy. Together, Reika and Kanae founded KASÉ Japanese Cooking to make authentic Japanese meals accessible, enjoyable, and easy to prepare at home. Drawing on decades of professional restaurant experience, they developed products and recipes that simplify complex Japanese cooking techniques, allowing anyone—even those with no prior cooking experience—to successfully recreate chef-level flavors. Every recipe and product is crafted with additive-free ingredients, focusing on health, taste, and simplicity. KASÉ is more than just food—it's a way to share a beloved culinary legacy and cultural experience. By combining Reika's deep expertise and Kanae's lifelong passion for Japanese cuisine, KASÉ aims to bring the joy and authenticity of Japanese cooking to homes across America, helping families and individuals enjoy delicious, healthy, and memorable meals together. Our brand embodies the values of quality, authenticity, and accessibility, ensuring that the magic of EN Japanese Brasserie lives on in every dish we share.
