I was desperate. My children and I all had sensitive skin irritation and found no relief in store brands. Our skin only got worse. I founded Cura Bello in 2015 after my daughter came home with irritated skin and red marks, some of which she had scratched, I knew I needed to find a gentle solution. A previous childhood accident left me without any skin on my face. As a child I also struggled with dryness, flaking, itching, and cracking, and I started mixing products to relieve my skin. I got right back to it. After a year of mixing different ingredients and testing each batch on my daughters and myself, I finally made a batch that worked. Not only did it relieve our skin irritation, but our skin stayed hydrated and glowing throughout the day. For five years, I gave it away to anyone who had skin concerns. It was my sister that convinced me to start selling it. I enlisted the help of my husband, a pharmacist of 35+ years, and refined my formula to be completely plant-based. From that one formula, four more have been developed. It took me 50 years to finally feel comfortable and beautiful in my own skin. I want to do the same for others who are searching for real relief. When we look better, we feel better. That's my mission - to help others feel confident in their skin and see their own beauty. Naturally.
