Mel Scott, a former athletic competitor based in Los Angeles, founded Linear Bar in 2024 with a simple mission: to make clean, thoughtful nutrition more accessible and enjoyable. With a strong interest in nutritional science, she’s passionate about helping people take a closer look at ingredient labels and choose foods made with intention and transparency. Linear Bar launched at the L.A. FitExpo in January 2025 and quickly earned placement in Erewhon stores across Southern California. We have built a passionate and growing community of loyal fans, especially throughout California. Through consistent sampling, fitness events, in-store demos, and organic word-of-mouth, we've created strong connections with consumers who genuinely love the product and actively share it with others. Our social audience continues to grow alongside the brand, and we are expanding our distribution every day to meet demand, from California and the Western States to the Eastern Seaboard. Today, Mel is focused on building Linear into a broader clean-performance brand, with plans to expand into additional better-for-you products that combine performance nutrition with crave-worthy taste.
