With a background in menu innovation and recipe development, māla girl was created as a solution to the noise in the health and wellness space. Sweet brings everyone in, these girls are made to highlight the other side of the wellness rainbow...the SAVORY side! Plant based was getting a bad rap, and ultra processed foods made their way to the top, defeating the reason why we should be eating more plant based WHOLE foods. The challenge was not only the prep and availability, but what was in the market. Boring, bulky boxed broths even if they were "plant based". Ramen was gaining traction with the savory, salty and big bold flavors. In order to help chefs and home cooks keep up with the time it takes, i wanted to make an all in one solution that was: shelf stable, functional, yet simple and instant. Our recipe: part veggies+ part spices + part botanicals= feel good flavors. Freeze dried or air dried ingredients that are organic or single origin. Non irradiated. Māla girl was created to help be a source of healing and happiness. We created these flavors intentionally. Classics and Global Flair with ingredients our bodies deserve.
