izzio artisan bakery is a family-owned Colorado bakery and we have been baking traditional organic sourdough breads since 1994. We only use ingredients that have been carefully sourced form out local farmers and millers. Knowing where all of our grains are grown and milled gives us 100% traceability from grain to loaf. This is important because we rely on the quality of the three basic ingredients, flour, water and salt. We make each loaf in small batches that are given the time and space to ferment slowly and naturally. Only by following this ancient baking process are able to create deep, elemental flavors that Mother Nature bounty offers. There are no shortcuts to making delicious, naturally fermented, organic sourdough breads and we believe our efforts make eating bread healthier and more enjoyable.
