We launched Greenhouse in a former coach house on Toronto's Macpherson Avenue. It was our first shop by day, and our first production facility by night. Our opening day, January 8th, 2014, was a bone-chilling winter Wednesday, and we were selling a product that was all but unheard-of in Toronto at the time. Worse, it had "cold" right in the name. We weren't optimistic that anyone would show up. We sold out within a few hours. Sustainability has always been at the heart of everything we do. We prioritize removing as much plastic as possible from our production process, and for the plastic we can't eliminate, we've partnered with rePurpose Global to offset our impact. In 2023, we became the first beverage brand in Canada to be certified plastic neutral. Today, Greenhouse is a Canadian company producing 100% organic, sustainably packaged, plant-based functional beverages. Our lineup features cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, protein shakes and smoothies, probiotic lemonades, kombucha, sparkling waters and clean label plantmilks (no gums, no additives, no nonsense) —each one packed with high-quality plant-based ingredients and nutrients in a delicious, convenient format that easily fits into your daily routine.
