Cria

I found Cria in my late father's diaries—notes filled with formulas, calculations, and poetry. Among them was a set of numbers my mother immediately recognized as Cria's formulation. My parents, a biochemist and a homeopathic physician, developed it over 25 years using four organic ingredients. I launched Cria to share their work. A study in Austin showed results for both men and women. Retail followed, with Soft Surroundings selling over 300 units in one quarter. Cria secured four STEP grants (2019–2023) and raised $90K through crowdfunding on Republic. COVID-19 disrupted our supply chain, leading to a pause. During this time, I began experiencing menopause—heart palpitations, dizziness, brain fog, disrupted sleep. Through it all, my hair remained the same. I realized I had been using a product designed for a need I had not recognized. This led to Cria's repositioning as a menopause-focused brand.
