Our company started in 2018. Our Founder and creator Michael DeLeeuw was traveling for business when he encountered two horribly stinky experiences while flying to Dallas on his flight. He came home started to tell his wife about his experience and started to research to see if there were any products in the market to help curb the bad smells experienced while flying. Nothing came up except some breathe right strips that weren't meant for helping with bad smells. So Mike got started with finding a solution. Essence was created 6 months later and brought to market in 2018.
