Ancient Organics

Founded in 2008, Ancient Organics started in a home kitchen. As requests grew we realized the particularly exquisite qualities of Ancient Organics ghee was something folks really desired. We evolved from a shared kitchen to our original dedicated production kitchen in Berkeley, California. Fast forward to 2024 when we launched the world's largest Certified Organic ghee plant in the city of Newman, part of California's Central Valley. We source exclusively from California's Northern Coast and New Zealand. Our suppliers are small scale, award winning Dairy Producers, committed to animal welfare, independent craftsmanship and regenerative dairy practices. We honor ancient tradition by sustainably sourcing our dairy, slowly kettle cooking, and artisanally filtering our ghee. These age-old practices produce the finest quality product, with the deepest flavor and aroma. We have an uncompromising commitment to quality and authenticity that sets the highest standard in the market today. Our attention to detail creates the favored appearance, taste, texture, and aroma that has captured a following of dedicated fans worldwide. Our process harnesses the bioavailability of the many beneficial fatty acids unique to traditionally made Organic Pasture Raised Ghee. We have a great appreciation for our AO Fans who continue to support and cheer us on! We honor all the individuals who have supported our vision over the years through their generous donation of time and energy.
