Germinal Bio

Germinal Group was born from the passion and foresight of its founder, Emanuele Zuanetti, who, forty years ago, chose to believe in and invest in organic foods, at the time a niche market still in its infancy. Leading an organic laboratory in Castelfranco Veneto, which grew to become a facility with three production lines, Zuanetti acquired Germinal Italia, a Brescia-based company founded in 1977 and specialized in the distribution of organic food products. From this merger, the GerminalMangiarsano Group was established in 2008, later simplified to Germinal Group in 2018, specializing in organic and health-focused foods. His entrepreneurial courage, combined with tenacity and a long-term vision, has driven continuous enhancements, fostering innovation in both products and processes. From 2001 to today, in Castelfranco Veneto, where the current production center is located, the Germinal Group has continuously expanded to cover a total of 13,000 square meters, now housing three highly automated and innovative production lines for creating baked sweet and savory goods in numerous formats. In 2015, an additional facility was added, featuring flexible technology and extensive capacity for producing fresh, ready-to-eat organic, gluten-free, and vegan dishes. Over the years, Germinal has achieved major certifications, strengthening its leadership position in the organic baked goods sector. The Germinal Group includes various brands, each dedicated to specific needs: Germinal BIO, the flagship organic brand; Germinal Organic, aimed at the U.S. market; and Mangiarsano, which offers functional products.
