Amari

We are the Everyday Athlete. Whether it's skiing, pickleball, hiking, gardening or any activity that gets us moving, we love staying active and having fun with friends and family as a way to stay healthy. These shared experiences are what life is all about. Amari's journey officially started in 2020 when we introduced our plant-based stir and mix powders for your water bottle, smoothie, or cocktail. The versatility and portability were fantastic, but after countless demos anyplace we could set up a table, one thing became clear. People desired the advantages of the powder, but with the convenience of a ready-to-drink beverage. The ah-ha moment struck at the FIBArk festival in Salida. Over 3 days, a 10-year-old selling lemonade across the sidewalk crushed us. The next weekend we sponsored our first pickleball tournament and turned real-life lemons into lemonade. We mixed our powdered Recovery product with Country Time lemonade in a 5-gallon cooler and had a line around the corner. Next, we had to make it ours in a delicious, 0g sugar, non-carbonated, low carb, functional sport drink. We rebranded and launched our ready to drink product line in March of 2023. Amari's unofficial journey began 30 years ago when our founder moved to Colorado for the same reasons many people do - a love for skiing, hiking, and spending time on rivers. As he got older, he noticed that while the spirit was willing, the body often had aches, pains, and soreness from activities he is passionate about. He thought there must be a way to take a better-for-you approach to reducing aches and pains from exercise and recovering faster. He pondered "What if we developed a product line that blended meaningful doses of gentle, effective ingredients to reduce inflammation from exercise and help people enjoy the activities they love…" And Amari was born.
